Submit essays exploring intersections between philosophy of mind and philosophy of religion for this special issue with a 2027 deadline.
This special issue addresses the growing engagement between two traditionally distinct philosophical sub-disciplines. It aims to explore how contemporary theories of mind can contribute to understanding religious concepts and philosophical questions concerning ultimate reality.
The editors welcome submissions that investigate the ways theories and debates in philosophy of mind can illuminate problems in philosophy of religion, including traditional and alternative conceptions of the divine or ultimate.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors are invited to submit essays for consideration in the special issue.
The special issue is edited by Prof. Andrei A. Buckareff and Dr. Mikael Leidenhag.
Accepted submissions will be considered for publication in the special issue "Philosophy of Mind Meets Philosophy of Religion".
