The British Society of Aesthetics invites papers exploring the aesthetic dimensions of games, including narrative, space, play, procedures, and politics.

The British Society of Aesthetics invites papers exploring the aesthetic dimensions of games, including narrative, space, play, procedures, and politics.
The conference will also examine what pressure games place on familiar distinctions within aesthetics, including those between object and experience, form and performance, and representation and action, and clarify what is at stake in treating games as aesthetically significant.
The conference has spaces available for additional papers. Interested speakers should submit an abstract of around 300–400 words.
Speakers will have up to 40 minutes for presentation, followed by 20 minutes for questions.
