This special issue explores the evolving reception of SSRIs over the past two decades, including phenomenological approaches to antidepressant treatment, empirical studies of emotional flattening and disconnection, and changing views surrounding the serotonin hypothesis of depression.
The issue welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that examine the relationship between biological, clinical, philosophical, and lived-experience perspectives on depression and antidepressant use.
