Philosophia Reformata invites papers examining M. D. Stafleu’s contributions to the philosophical foundations of physics, mathematics, and the sciences.
The special issue is guest edited by Richard Gunton (Queen Mary University of London) and Gerrit Glas (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
Stafleu wrote extensively on the philosophy of physics and the sciences more broadly. Drawing on and critically engaging with the work of Herman Dooyeweerd, he made significant contributions to Reformational philosophy of science, covering fields from mathematics to the social and political sciences.
The editors invite scholars who have drawn on any aspect of Stafleu’s work to contribute papers that clarify and situate his contributions within the broader history and philosophy of science.

Papers should be 5,000–9,000 words and may be submitted through the Philosophia Reformata journal website.
