My journey began in the early nineties when my family and I moved from Oxfordshire, England, to Auckland, New Zealand. There, I excelled in English and later specialised in linguistics and foreign languages, completing my education with distinction.

After earning my postgraduate degree, I was awarded a scholarship to Spain, where I worked as an English language specialist in bilingual primary and secondary schools. I later transitioned to teaching ESL to students of all ages and levels in private language academies in Andalusia, where I continue to reside.

In 2019, I shifted my focus from teaching to establish myself as a professional Spanish-English translator and academic editor, working primarily with postgraduate students and professors. My expertise became sought after in commercial and literary sectors, and in 2023 I translated a novel, available on Amazon.

With a keen and intuitive eye, meticulous attention to detail, and passion for reading and creative writing, I am dedicated to ensuring your work flows naturally and reads with clarity, precision and impact.
